The Role

We seek a hands-on, detail-oriented Quantitative Researcher with experience in fixed income markets. Key responsibilities include researching and implementing data quality enhancements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and working with Data Operations to improve daily processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data quality standards.
  2. Identify and resolve data issues such as incorrect or missing data.
  3. Apply statistical and machine learning methodologies to detect data outliers and anomalies.
  4. Create and maintain documentation related to data definitions and data quality rules.
  5. Construct mappings between SimCorp and vendor data.
  6. Develop improved methods and tools for correcting erroneous credit curves and investigating risk and performance numbers.

Requirements

  1. Master's degree in a quantitative field, with a PhD advantageous.
  2. Professional designation (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.
  3. 2+ years of experience in fixed income markets, including rates and credit.
  4. Experience with coding, preferably Python.
  5. Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  6. Ability to quickly understand existing approaches and apply analytic techniques to new problems.
  7. Advanced communication and documentation skills.
