About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at Wayve. As a Facilities Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of our physical space globally, ensuring it is safe, compliant, comfortable, and fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the setup, tender, and management of contractors and suppliers for our facilities
- Manage office and workshop improvement projects from tender to sign off
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements
- Find, negotiate, and fit out office and workshop openings in new locations
- Manage a small team in the UK and the US
- Work closely with the Hardware & Operations teams on Health & Safety and other legislative requirements specific to workshop safety
- Work closely with the Head of Security to ensure the physical security of our sites
- Create and manage the budget and forecasting for all costs associated with our facilities and facility management
- Drive Wayve's strategy for minimizing our impact on the environment through energy-efficient ideas and waste reduction
- Stay ahead of industry trends and standards as well as Wayve's future needs
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have several years of construction and facilities management experience beyond office space, including experience covering warehousing, workshop, and/or manufacturing space. You will also need to have extensive project management experience, demonstrable background in Health and Safety management, budget management experience, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
