Job Summary:

The Network Revenue Manager plays a critical role in driving service profitability, punctuality, quality, and efficiency. This position is responsible for optimizing supply and demand using data and advocating for the use of technology to improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the local Network Planning function within a divisional framework and advocate for data-driven decision making.
  • Accountable for service profitability and driving profitability improvement at a bus service level.
  • Monitor and improve punctuality performance through the use of advanced technology.
  • Monitor the performance of the road network within the Local Business Unit and target local authorities for improvements to improve overall journey speed and reduce variability.
  • Identify local network growth initiatives through analysis and assist with smooth implementation.
  • Maximize revenue opportunities and cost efficiencies through optimal vehicle fleet deployment.
  • Work with the divisional pricing team to ensure pricing positively impacts network profitability.
  • Proactively solve problems to meet business core objectives.
  • Maintain strong links with key internal stakeholders.
  • Lead conversations with local authorities on network activity.
  • Produce network or route development proposals with full cost/benefit analysis.
  • Manage the preparation of tender bids.
  • Ensure timely bus service registrations.
  • Use customer insights to optimize the network and enhance customer satisfaction.
