Networks Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Manager to join our Utilities team at AWE. As a key member of our Estates & Liabilities function, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of our electrical distribution networks, steam and gases networks, and water and wastewater networks.
Your primary focus will be on maintaining the budget, team performance, and effective support into Projects, while ensuring maximum network availability. You will act as the key interface between senior leadership, regulators, projects, operations, and other business functions/stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and partners to ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain network availability and meet 24/7/365 delivery requirements.
- Collaborate with the team to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring business continuity for network and facilities services.
- Engage with regulatory bodies and host audits to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements:
- Technician Based Apprenticeship/NVQ4 or equivalent qualification.
- Additional qualifications specific to a Network area.
- Awareness of network and facility safety, safe operating boundaries, and quality systems.
- Ability to work in a contract service delivery environment and engage with regulatory bodies.
