Eden Brown Synergy is seeking a Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the Statement of Purpose in an established Children's Residential Care Group.

The Deputy Manager will be responsible for deputising in the absence of the Registered Manager, managing staff, and undertaking direct work with children and young people as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification and at least 2 years' experience in a similar role. They will also have knowledge of CHR 2015 and the QS, the Children Act, and other relevant legislation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Registered Manager in achieving the aims and objectives of the Statement of Purpose
  • Deputising in the absence of the Registered Manager
  • Managing staff and undertaking direct work with children and young people as appropriate
  • Managing child protection concerns and complaints
  • Working in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people

Requirements for this role include:

  • Diploma Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of CHR 2015 and the QS, the Children Act, and other relevant legislation
