About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Modeller to join our Water and Wastewater Team in Glasgow/Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing computer models to investigate flooding and environmental problems, and generating outline solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and build hydraulic sewer models to investigate flood risk and flooding mechanisms.
  • Analyse model outputs and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop 1D and 2D models to investigate flood risk and flooding mechanisms.
  • Use GIS software to support our understanding of complex environmental problems.
  • Develop reports and other project deliverables.
  • Support junior members of the team to proactively solve environmental problems for our clients.

Benefits and Rewards

We offer a competitive salary that is regularly tested against other consultants with a default 25-days leave each year plus bank holidays and options to buy some or sell of that leave. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Additional Information

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
