About the Role:

RPS Group is seeking a skilled Hydraulic Modeller to support our water quality, coastal, and flood risk management business. As a key member of our team, you will work on a diverse range of projects, including feasibility studies, design, and delivery of water environment solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and calibrate complex numerical models using industry-standard software such as InfoWorks ICM, MIKE suite, and Flood Modeller Pro.
  • Work with a diverse range of clients across the UK and Ireland, providing expert advice on flood risk management, water quality, and integrated catchment management.
  • Collaborate with our specialist engineers and scientists to develop national strategies and deliver water environment solutions.
  • Use your expertise to build, calibrate, and verify complex numerical models, and provide recommendations to clients.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field of science or engineering.
  • Chartered Membership or near Chartered for more senior posts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Good work ethic and willingness to deliver as part of a team.
