We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our national fluvial and pluvial modelling team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering hydraulic modelling and hydrology studies to support projects across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical delivery for fluvial and pluvial modelling projects, including experience using flood modelling software.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop junior colleagues in fluvial and pluvial modelling.
- Ensure technical quality through self-checking and reviewing work from the technical team.
- Contribute to the preparation of new work proposals by supporting scoping and estimation of effort.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in undertaking fluvial and pluvial hydraulic modelling.
- Knowledge of UK hydrology, including flood estimation methods.
