About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Modeller to join our Water and Wastewater Team in Glasgow/Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing computer models to investigate flooding and environmental problems, and generating outline solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and build hydraulic sewer models to investigate flooding and environmental problems.
  • Analyse model outputs to identify potential solutions and develop recommendations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop 1D and 2D models to investigate flood risk and flooding mechanisms.
  • Use GIS software to support our understanding of complex environmental problems.
  • Develop reports and other project deliverables to communicate findings and recommendations to clients.
  • Support junior members of the team to proactively solve environmental problems for our clients.
