Job Description


We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Modeller to join our Water and Wastewater Team in Glasgow/Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing computer models to investigate flooding and environmental problems and generating outline solutions.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Build, verification, and analysis of hydraulic sewer models outputs.
  • Development of 1D and 2D models to investigate flood risk and flooding mechanisms.
  • Data handling and analysis.
  • Use of GIS software (such as MapInfo & ArcGIS), to support our understanding of complex environmental problems.
  • Development of reports and other project deliverables.
  • Survey planning and survey supervision.
  • Support junior members of the team, to proactively solve environmental problems for our clients.

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview.
