We're a global company committed to making your career future ready. We're seeking a talented Hydrologist Consultant to join our Sustainable Water Management Team.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in fluvial and pluvial hydraulic modelling, with knowledge of UK hydrology and flood estimation methods.
A successful applicant will demonstrate strong analytical skills, as well as the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
With a strong commitment to continuing professional development and membership, the right individual will contribute to new work proposals by estimating effort and scope.
The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £75,000 per annum.
About the Role:
- Develop and deliver fluvial and pluvial hydraulic models for complex studies.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to junior colleagues in fluvial and pluvial modelling.
- Contribute to the development of new workflows and processes.
- Support client liaison, data management, and other tasks.
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in fluvial and pluvial hydraulic modelling.
- Knowledge of UK hydrology, including flood estimation methods.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to continuing professional development and membership.
- Desirable skills: infrastructure experience, GIS, flood risk assessments, and UK flood risk policy knowledge.
