- SLR has an exciting opportunity for an early career hydrologist to join our large team of water specialists delivering Environmental Impact Assessment Report chapters and Environmental Appraisals in support of renewables and electrical transmission projects.
- You will be joining a team which are already working on a range of nationally significant projects which are and will make a tangible contribution to our journey to Net Zero. The role presents an outstanding opportunity to join a close-knit team of hydrologists, drainage and flood management engineers and be part of a wider group which also comprises hydrogeologists, geomorphologists and geochemists.**About us**

Working alongside the existing team, we will support you in delivering the following duties:

- undertake Private Water Supply risk assessments
- design surface water and groundwater monitoring programmes
- undertake surface water and groundwater monitoring
- support our geology team with peat probing
- undertake client liaison and project management**About You**

Whilst not essential, alongside some professional hydrology experience, we'd like you to have formal training in hydrology or earth sciences. We expect you to be professional and able to communicate effectively. You’ll need a full current driving licence which is valid in the UK. Whilst the role will be mostly office based there will be a need for site visits which may last for periods of up to 1 week.**Diversity, Equity and Inclusion**
