About the Role

We are seeking an Electronics Specialist to join our team in Edinburgh. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on advanced electronics for scientific detectors, focusing on high-speed current detection and developing cutting-edge detectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and optimization of detector systems to ensure maximum speed and reliability.
  • Collaborate with a team of electronics engineers to drive new product development and PCB design using Altium.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience as an electronics engineer.
  • Broad experience in electronics design; FPGA and VHDL knowledge is a plus.
  • Familiarity with embedded C and embedded software would be beneficial but is not essential.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Edinburgh, offering a competitive salary of £50,000 per annum for a 37.5-hour work week.
