Electronics Engineer for RF Systems Development

At Advanced Resource Managers, we are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh. This 6-month contract position offers the opportunity to work on a range of multifunctional RF PCB and Module designs using the latest technologies available.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full hardware lifecycle of our products, from system concept through detailed design and prototyping, test and verification, system integration, and support in production.

This includes:

  • Developing complex RF systems
  • Designing and testing RF PCBs and modules
  • Conducting design reviews and lifecycle management
  • Requirements capture and management

To be considered for this role, you should have a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related science, and experience with Microwave PCB materials & design techniques, RF Microwave Sub-System Design, and Microwave design tools such as AWR and CST.

You will also be expected to have knowledge of EM 3D and 2D simulation techniques, GaAs/GaN MMIC design and application, and RF Synthesiser design using DDS and PLL technologies.

The estimated salary for this position is £65 per hour, based on the location and industry standards.
