Clinical Support Specialist

**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Nurse Advisor to join our team at Chase in Plymouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to make a real difference in the lives of patients requiring enteral feeding.
About the Role:
As a Nurse Advisor, you will work closely with patients who require enteral feeding, ensuring their carers are supported and providing invaluable assistance to Dietitians and other healthcare professionals in the local NHS Trust. You will be responsible for managing your own day-to-day caseload, working autonomously, and covering a specified geographical catchment area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide training and clinical support/interventions to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals on the use of specific enteral feeding pumps, associated feeding equipment, and/or enteral feeding procedures.
- Work closely with patients and their carers to ensure seamless care and support.
- Collaborate with local healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and reduce unnecessary referrals to hospitals.
- Facilitate patient discharges and support those with short/long-term enteral feeding requirements by improving care and the overall patient experience.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to be an NMC registered nurse with a highly planned and organized approach to your work. Full training is provided, and we are looking for committed and passionate individuals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will receive full training and the opportunity to work with a global leader in nutritional products.
