Human Resources Specialist

The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for ensuring the culture of ESL is developed and embedded into campus everyday life. They will provide the HR Manager reports on all HR related matters/issues on campus and liaise with the HR team to suggest solutions or recommend change.
This role is ideal for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Main Responsibilities
- Work with line managers and employees to provide appropriate guidance channels and act as a point of escalation for key HR matters or issues that arise.
- Act as a single point of contact for employees and liaise with line managers.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all staff to achieve high levels of trust, respect, and professionalism.
- Provide generalist HR service to staff.
- Work closely with the recruitment team to direct and participate in the interview process, scheduling, and onboarding of new candidates.
- Ensure new hire induction is carried out for all new joiners.
- Liaise closely with the central HR team to ensure all HR policies and practices are followed out and implemented.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, and leave records.
- Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, such as employment contracts, offer letters.
- Collaborate with line managers to manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- You will be required to undertake duties for any Associated Company within the PEN Group.
- Be flexible and show initiative; you will be required to perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the Company.
- Support performance management activities, including performance appraisals and disciplinary processes.
- Culturally aware and possess the ability to influence and guide at all levels.
- Promote and encourage positive employee experiences, culture, and engagement.
- Right to work, verification of documents, references.
- Provide campus tours and ensure new joiners are settled.
- Ensure the delivery of core HR services.
- Ensure to follow the offboarding process.
- Be responsible for collecting information for monthly payroll.
