Job Overview

William Grant & Sons is seeking a highly skilled Development Manager to lead the development and implementation of our web applications. As a key member of the Global Technology Services team, you will play a pivotal role in driving technical excellence and guiding the project's technical direction.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical architecture and development of web applications using Next.js, TypeScript, and Headless/MACH architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver features.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Perform code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure compliance with architectural guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project timelines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Development Manager or Senior Developer in web application development projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Next.js, TypeScript, with a deep understanding of their respective ecosystems and best practices.
  • Experience with modern web development technologies such as React, GraphQL, and Headless/MACH architecture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
