Key Responsibilities:

As an Employment Advisor at PeoplePlus, you will play a crucial role in guiding job seekers through their employment journey. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong, supportive relationships with clients to understand their career aspirations, strengths, and areas for development.
  • Providing personalized career advice, resume writing assistance, and interview preparation to help clients present their best selves to potential employers.
  • Utilizing your knowledge of the job market to match clients with suitable employment opportunities, ensuring a good fit for both the individual and the employer.
  • Developing and conducting workshops on job search strategies, networking, professional development, and other relevant topics to enhance clients' employability.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with local employers to identify job openings, advocate for clients, and stay informed about industry trends and hiring needs.
  • Monitoring participants' progress, maintaining accurate records, and providing regular updates and reports on employment outcomes.
  • Working closely with colleagues, community partners, and other stakeholders to create a supportive network for clients and promote their success.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency with data management systems and modern communication tools, including MS Office.
  • Experience in creating SMART action plans and conducting individual needs assessments.
