About The Team

We are a dynamic and compassionate team at Salvation Army Homes, dedicated to providing high-quality support and services to individuals in need. As a Mental Health Recovery Specialist, you will be part of a collaborative team that works together to deliver holistic support and empower our clients to achieve their goals.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others. You will work collaboratively with external agencies and our team to deliver high-quality support and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and accompany clients to essential appointments related to health, debts, or housing
  • Advise clients to access information on housing, health, welfare, benefits, and other resources
  • Support with medication management when required
  • Actively engage residents in developing the service
  • Liaise with external agencies, including Health Professionals
  • Help manage incidents or challenging behavior
  • Develop person-centered Support Plans and Risk Management Plans and maintain accurate records
Salary and Benefits

  • A salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
