Job Description

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 per annum

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Senior Business Development Manager to lead a team and drive our strategic growth. This newly created role will give you the chance to make a real difference by leading key projects, developing partnerships, and championing our mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Leadership: You will advise the Board and lead the development of the Strategic Plan, identifying opportunities for innovation, growth, and sustainability. Your ability to think creatively and strategically will drive the fundraising, communications, and business development efforts.
  2. External Relationships: Build and nurture relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, from statutory and business partners to churches and community organisations.
  3. Christian Ethos: As a Christian organisation, we believe in inclusivity and diversity, promoting our values and mission both within the charity and across our wider network. You will be a key ambassador for our ethos, ensuring our work reflects the Christian values of compassion and service to others.
  4. Operational Excellence: Oversee the smooth running of key projects, ensuring compliance, risk management, and sustainability. Manage budgets, KPIs, and performance reviews while always striving to improve service delivery.
  5. Fundraising Expertise: Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies, building on existing partnerships and forging new ones.
  6. Visionary Leadership: Possess a deep understanding of our Christian mission and its application in working with vulnerable communities.
