We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our programming team at the National Trust's Children's Country House at Sudbury. As a Senior Programming Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of a relevant and engaging learning offer for both our indoor and outdoor spaces, and the planning of baseline programming throughout the year, in conjunction with the wider programming strategy.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop, plan, and manage the delivery of every aspect of a learning visit to the Children's Country House
* Manage two members of staff and learning volunteers, who will be responsible for learning delivery
* Collaborate with the Programming & Participation Manager to develop and implement a thematic approach to wider programming initiatives
* Ensure compliance with health and safety and safeguarding best practices
* Work closely with the Duty Manager team to ensure the smooth operation of the Children's Country House during opening hours

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Strong organisational and administrative skills, including budget management and record-keeping
* Excellent people and communication skills, with the ability to establish positive relationships with external and internal collaborators
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment
* Experience in delivering learning programmes and events, or working with community or commercial partners to deliver events and activities
* Understanding of an audience-led approach and the ability to evaluate the impact and use feedback to further develop an offer or event
