Role Overview
">We are seeking a Behaviour Support Mentor to join our team at a dynamic PRU school in Stockton on Tees. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
">About the Role
">The Behaviour Support Mentor will work with children on a one-to-one basis or in small or large groups, developing and using strategies to manage and support pupils with challenging behaviour. You will also work alongside teachers, Heads of House, and support staff to promote effective behaviour management strategies.
">Your Responsibilities

- Develop and implement strategies to support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties">
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to promote effective behaviour management">
- Support parents in improving individual children's behaviour and ensuring effective communication between school and home">
- Raise self-esteem and confidence of pupils through targeted interventions">
- Monitor progress and maintain improvements in pupil behaviour">
