Behaviour Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Specialist to provide support to schools across Scarborough on a day-to-day, ad-hoc basis.

  • Support pupils with challenging behaviour on a one-to-one or small group basis.
  • Promote emotional regulation, resilience, and positive social interactions among pupils.
  • Adapt to different school settings and build rapport quickly with staff and students.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs is essential.
  • Flexibility to travel to schools within the Scarborough area.
  • An enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
