Youth Support Specialist

Polaris Community is seeking a dedicated Youth Support Specialist to join our Residential Team at Bay View. This casual position requires a dynamic and inspirational individual to provide support to young people aged 8-18 with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to build trusting relationships with the children in their care. A Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People is essential for this role, as well as a full UK driving license.
We estimate the salary for this position to be around £11.52 per hour, based on industry standards and location.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing a safe, secure, and homely environment for the children in the home.
- Supporting the development of care plans and adhering to Ofsted standards.
- Building constructive relationships with the children and engaging in activities that promote their wellbeing.
Salary: £11.52 per hour
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People.
- A full UK driving license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
