Polaris Community is recruiting a Support Worker for our youth care service. This role involves working with young people aged 8-18 who require support with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.
About the Job:- Hourly wage: £11.52
- Work location: Capernwray, Carnforth
The successful candidate will hold a Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People and have experience working with vulnerable individuals. A full UK driving license is also essential. Responsibilities include developing and implementing care plans, managing conflict situations, and engaging in activities with the children.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement care plans for each young person
- Manage conflict situations and communicate issues to management
- Engage in activities with the children and maintain regular communication with their families
