Support Worker for Children's Homes

Polaris Community seeks a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker for Children's Homes to join our team in providing exceptional care to young individuals with social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties.
We offer a competitive salary of £23,961.60 per annum, complemented by up to £6,720 in sleep-in payments, making the estimated total remuneration around £30,681.60 annually.
Key Responsibilities- To provide high-quality support to children and young adults, fostering a safe, secure, and positive environment that promotes their well-being and progress.
- To work collaboratively with the residential team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless communication and a unified approach.
- To actively engage with children in various activities, promoting their social, emotional, and educational development.
- A Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People or equivalent qualification is preferred but not mandatory; we will consider candidates who are willing to undertake this within 2 years.
- A full UK driving license is essential for this role.
