Job Description

**Chief Medical Officer - Health Strategy Lead**

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Medical Officer to lead our Health Strategy team at GE Vernova. As a key member of our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) organization, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing a comprehensive health policy that aligns with our company's overall strategy and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy a GE Vernova Health Policy that addresses key health standards, including hygiene, first-aid training, annual physicals, health passports, and substance abuse policy.
  • Perform enterprise-level risk assessments to identify high health risk areas and develop emergency response plans.
  • Provide technical expertise and direction to business or segment health professionals.
  • Conduct health audits to ensure the robustness of business health management systems and frameworks.
  • Oversee the publication of periodic health information and alerts.
  • Develop a network of relations with specialized medical centers and institutes.
  • Organize and lead operating cadences to assess strategy and policy execution.
  • Develop and implement cultural and process change strategies to ensure successful implementation of health programs.

Requirements:

  • Medical MD diploma
  • Domain expertise in crisis management or emergency medicine
  • Practiced medicine for at least 5 years after graduation in various medical functions and facilities.
  • 10+ years of experience in a high-level health management position in the energy industry or in another industrial sector.
  • Innovative critical thinker with experience performing enterprise-wide audits and driving change management policies/practices.
  • Expertise in industrial hygiene, health and safety, ergonomics, and sustainability content and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to transform culture while delivering improvements against a long-term strategic vision.
