Job Summary:

The British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Medical Officer to lead our clinical services team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality nursing, midwifery, medical, and surgical services across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and quality.
  • Collaborate with our senior leadership team to drive organizational change and improvement initiatives.
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to our clinical services team, including nursing, midwifery, medical, and surgical services.
  • Work closely with our trustees, C-suite, and senior operating team members to enhance our impact and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, government agencies, and other relevant organizations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a healthcare organization.
  • Strong clinical expertise and knowledge of reproductive healthcare.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
