About the Role: As the Chief Medical Officer of Clinical Development at Discover International, you will spearhead clinical development programs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the highest standards in patient care and treatment protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee clinical trials from concept to execution, ensuring scientific rigor and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the development and execution of clinical strategies alongside the Clinical Development Team, driving innovative therapeutic approaches and advancing global health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with global regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and advance new therapies, serving as a key opinion leader in the industry.
  • Develop and implement clinical trial designs, protocols, and reports, ensuring the highest standards of scientific integrity and patient safety.
  • Provide medical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, regulatory affairs, and research and development.

Qualifications:

  • MD from a reputable institution in the UK.
  • Proven track record in clinical development, with experience in leading clinical trials and developing clinical strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, clinical trial design, and medical research methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
