Job Overview

As a Senior Health and Safety Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the Busway Health and Safety team meets regulatory requirements and maintains a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments of the busway to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
  2. Provide expert health and safety advice and guidance to the team and stakeholders.
  3. Collaborate with the Lead Busway Health and Safety Officer to ensure ongoing compliance with regulations and policies.
Requirements
  • A recognised professional qualification in Health and Safety or equivalent.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development in relevant areas.
  • Experience working in a health and safety role within a complex organisation.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.
  • Proven track record of carrying out risk assessments and writing reports.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including annual leave, sick pay, pension, and mileage.
