Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Residential Property Manager to join our team at Property Personnel. As a key member of our Property and Portfolio Management team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties and overseeing day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of residential properties, overseeing day-to-day operations, including maintenance, repairs, resident and portfolio client relations.
  • Strategic Planning: Support in developing and implementing property management plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure the optimal performance of the portfolio.
  • Financial Management: Maintain accurate records and financial reports for the portfolio of properties, ensuring timely and effective financial management.
  • Property Inspections: Conduct regular property inspections and implement preventative maintenance measures to ensure the properties are well-maintained and meet the required standards.
  • Client Relations: Respond to resident inquiries and complaints, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of issues, and maintaining excellent relationships with portfolio clients.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance projects, and monitor and report on the performance of the properties to our portfolio clients.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a property or portfolio management related field.
  • Knowledge: A sound knowledge and understanding of the AST Housing Act.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in property management software, and ARLA Qualified to Level 3 or IRPM or working towards.
  • Personal Qualities: Confidence, enthusiasm, and strong dedication to the job and company, ability to work calmly and professionally under pressure, meet set deadlines, and pay meticulous attention to detail.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary on offer will be in the region of £35,000 to £40,000. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
