About the Role

The Winch is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Play Manager to join our team. As a Deputy Play Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the management of our play provision, working closely with the Play Manager to plan, deliver, and evaluate the provision for children aged 4-11 years old.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Play Manager in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of the play provision.
  • Help lead and manage staff, volunteers, and partners to ensure a high-quality play experience for children.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with families and carers, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Ensure the safeguarding and health and safety of children in our care, adhering to Ofsted and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • A minimum of Level 3 in Play Work, Early Years Childcare, or equivalent qualifications.
  • At least three years' experience of working with children, preferably in a play-based setting.
  • Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Ofsted requirements.
  • Ability to model and lead play-based activities, including sports and physical play.
