**Job Summary**

The SCR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children's Services Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of a residential service catering to young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. **Responsibilities Include:**

  • Daily Home Operations: Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of residents.
  • Staff Management: Lead and develop a team of professionals who share your commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
  • Budgeting: Manage and optimize resources to ensure effective delivery of services while maintaining financial stability.
  • Care Standards: Uphold the highest standards of care, adhering to national minimum standards and relevant legislation, including the Children's Act 2010.

**Requirements for Success:**

  • A minimum of two years of experience in management roles within young people's services, demonstrating a proven track record of success.
  • An established reputation for achieving Good/Outstanding ratings from Ofsted, showcasing exceptional leadership and quality assurance skills.
  • Possession of RMA/NVQ 4 in Leadership & Management or ILM Level 5 qualification, highlighting your expertise in strategic planning and operational management.
  • An in-depth understanding of children's homes national minimum standards and the Children's Act 2010, ensuring compliance and best practice.
