SEND Support Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and organized SEND Support Specialist to join our team at an exceptional secondary school in Newham. As a Psychology Graduate (School SEND Admin), you will play a vital role in providing dedicated administrative support to the community's SENDCo and broader learning support team.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term opportunity with an immediate start, offering a day rate of £90+. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working in education and has experience in SEND and administration. The ideal candidate will have a top university degree in Psychology and be eager to further their expertise in a SEND environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the SEND team with all administrative tasks, including coordinating meetings for parents and in-service courses.
  • Assisting SEND colleagues and teaching staff in the coordination of student reviews and other responsibilities to support the Inclusion team.
Criteria
  • Experience of working with confidential information and SIMS software.
  • Awareness of current issues in education and ability to deliver to deadlines and achieve set targets to a high standard.
