Job Description:

Are you a talented graduate looking for a rewarding position supporting pupils with additional learning needs?

We are currently working with a brilliant SEND provision based in the area who are looking for a empathetic and resilient individual to take on a Support Worker for SEND Students role where you will be working on a 1:1 basis with a child who has Autism and/or SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working alongside SEND professionals to support the learning and care of pupils both inside and outside the classroom on a 1:1 basis.
  • Implementing specific EHCP's to ensure the correct approach is being given.
  • Ensuring that all children have a safe learning environment and are assisted in their learning and development.

Requirements:
  • Obtain a psychology-related degree from a Top 20 UK University (minimum 2:1).
  • Have a positive and enthusiastic approach with a passion for supporting learners with SEND.
  • Embrace in working in a varied and sometimes unpredictable environment.
  • Experience working with children with SEND is desirable.


This will be an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Psychology Graduate to gain hands-on experience supporting SEND students, and chance to work as part of a supportive and dedicated staff team where all individuals are valued.
