Job Description

As a Senior Psychology Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the educational needs of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a primary school setting. You will work closely with experienced professionals, including SEND specialists and educational psychologists, to develop and implement effective strategies to promote pupil progress and well-being.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and creating individual learning plans to meet the unique needs of each child
  • Developing and implementing behavioral interventions to support children with challenging behaviors
  • Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to design and deliver high-quality educational programs
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports to track student progress and outcomes
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A first-class degree in Psychology from a Top UK University
  • Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in an educational setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and parents
  • A patient and empathetic approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality support to vulnerable children
