About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Sous Chef to join our team at WAGAMAMA LIMITED. As a key member of our kitchen management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our back-of-house operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management team in developing and implementing kitchen strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional results and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of kitchen staff.
  • Monitor and analyze kitchen performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a senior kitchen manager or executive sous chef in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, health and safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
