Medical Records Coordinator

Kootenay Lake Hospital in Nelson, B.C. has an opening for a Medical Records Coordinator to join our Diagnostic Imaging team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing patient records, ensuring that all relevant information is up-to-date and accurate. You will also be involved in coordinating transportation arrangements, preparing reports and documents, and performing other administrative tasks as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need two years of recent experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and training. You must also possess a current administered 5-minute typing certificate of 45wpm and proof of completion of a Medical Terminology Course.
This is a casual opportunity, which means there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements can vary from 0-37.5 hours per week. However, many careers with Interior Health Authority begin with casual employment and lead to permanent or temporary career opportunities.
Salary: $35-$42 per hour (estimated). We offer excellent benefits for permanent and temporary roles, including health and dental coverage, and a pension plan.
