Project Lead & Technical Pre-Sales Executive

An expanding Stoke-on-Trent based fire and security services company is seeking a Project Lead & Technical Pre-Sales Executive to provide technical leadership and pre-sales expertise to drive sales and business growth through the effective leadership, planning and coordination of operations and teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects.

The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package up to GBP40,000 per year, a company vehicle, and is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a forward-thinking company and play a key role in enhancing the customer experience journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning and leading projects, managing timelines and budgets, coordinating teams and overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure the smooth delivery of projects.
  • Providing technical support during the project lifecycle, troubleshooting issues during installation and post-implementation.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, risk management procedures and quality control according to technical specifications and industry standards.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and innovation in project delivery and solution design.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and latest advancements in fire protection and security technologies.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in project management, technical pre-sales, solution design or sales engineering within the fire and security industry is essential.
  • Knowledge of fire protection and security systems (e.g. Fire alarms, access control, CCTV, intruder alarms).
  • Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit or similar tools.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to communicate at various levels and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Full clean UK driving licence.
