Job Summary:
As a Project Manager for our Security/Access Control department, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our team. Your responsibilities will include managing all aspects of project delivery, from initial mobilization and pre-start meetings to final snagging and handover. You will lead a dynamic team of supervisors, site-based operatives, and subcontractors, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

  • Key Responsibilities: Oversee project jobs from start to finish, including mobilization, daily operations, snagging, and completion. Delegate actions to team members and report critical issues to senior management. Coordinate with Building Control as required.
  • Project Management: Provide technical guidance to operatives and customers, with assistance from senior management and supervisors. Ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor work-in-progress for invoicing, ensuring all variations are accurately recorded and billed.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track staff performance, attendance, and conduct appraisals. Ensure lessons learned from projects are documented and applied to future work.

Essential Qualifications/Skills:

  • Proven experience in project management within the security/access control industry.
  • Financial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • SMSTS qualification (or currently pursuing).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Projects (or currently developing).
  • Full UK driving licence.
