About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Policy Officer to join our Wildlife team within the Policy, Prevention and Campaigns Division. This pivotal role will address a significant gap in the protection and welfare of animals used in entertainment and media.

As a Senior Policy Officer, you will drive forward critical initiatives to ensure that the welfare needs of animals are prioritised and protected, reflecting the values and expectations of society.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective policies and strategies to address animal welfare concerns in the entertainment industry
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including industry professionals and advocacy groups, to promote positive change
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform policy development and advocacy efforts
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to advance organisational objectives
