About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to join our Central Finance team at Liberty Global. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team and driving strategic growth initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team striving for excellence in finance operations
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to automate central processes and enhance efficiency
  • Enable the production of financial analysis and make recommendations through robust business modeling
  • Consolidate financials and present in an engaging way to Executive leadership
  • Business partner with technical and non-technical audiences to support teams in realizing financial objectives and optimizing capital allocation
Requirements
  • Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong background across one of, or a combination of: Banking, Consulting, Fintech, Tech and/or other adjacent industries
  • Strong generalist experience across core finance activities such as business partnering, capital allocation (FP&A) etc. with a track record of managing financial budgets, actuals, business cases, modeling and project coordination
  • MBA, CFA or CPA preferred
  • Experience in an International or Pan-European environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight delivery targets
  • Able to work across numerous departments and subject areas to achieve a common goal
  • Able to manage the detail while retaining the bigger picture
