Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in Cambridgeshire. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safeguarding needs of children and young people are met with effective and timely interventions.

About You
You must have a strong background in social work, with experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with children, families, and professionals.

What We Offer
As an NHS employee, you will receive a competitive salary, estimated to be around £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes annual leave, sick pay, pension, and mileage. Additionally, we offer flexible working arrangements and a relocation package of up to £8,000.

Responsibilities
- Act as the lead professional and ensure all matters in respect of safeguarding are dealt with promptly and effectively.
- Undertake assessments to identify and respond to needs, building on strengths and ensuring that analysis is robust and leads to clear outcomes.
- Engage with children, young people, and their families to develop effective and empowering relationships which facilitate change and improve outcomes.
