Spares Coordinator Job Description



This is a permanent position with a leading manufacturing company in Diss, Norfolk. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing customers and ensuring their needs are met.



Main Responsibilities:




  • Maintaining relationships with existing customers and ensuring their needs are met
  • Processing customer enquiries via phone or email for spares
  • Owning end-to-end sales process for spares, including liaising with customers and suppliers
  • Requesting quotes from suppliers and processing purchase to the best price and quality
  • Producing quotations and following them up
  • Converting enquiries to sales orders
  • Communicating with operations in all departments
  • Actively promoting spares sales for all contracts
  • Issuing priced recommended critical spares list for all new and recent contracts
  • Data entry on the MRP system
  • Proactively sourcing new business


Requirements:




  • Experience in a similar role with manufacturing/engineering knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • IT Skills – must include word, excel, email and be familiar with MRP systems
  • Exceptional time management with the ability to meet critical deadlines
