About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ecommerce & Sales Intern to join our team at Amazon. As an Ecommerce & Sales Intern, you will play a critical role in supporting our business teams and programs to drive sales growth and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Analysis: Work closely with business teams and programs to identify, define, and document analytical reporting needs, from baseline problem statements to deep dive analytics.
  2. Liaison Role: Act as a liaison between program managers, technical analysts, and functional experts to analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process performance.
  3. Reporting and Insights: Consolidate information into cohesive and insightful analytical reports for use in decision-making, generating high-quality and insightful recommendations to drive value and program/process efficiency.
  4. Automation and Visualization: Automate the report generation process through the use of tools and programming techniques, such as SQL, Python, and advanced Excel, and deploy visualization tools and techniques, such as Salesforce, Tableau, PowerBI, and Infographics, to build comprehensive dashboards.
  5. Process Improvement: Track and document changes in functional and business specifications to accurately identify and measure KPIs, write detailed procedures for manual and automated reporting processes, and identify opportunities for improving business processes through detailed and thorough root cause analysis.
  6. Special Projects: Participate in studies of new and existing programs and special projects to determine feasibility, resolving problems including organizational, analytical, and procedural ones.
Requirements
  1. Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program or have graduated less than 12 months ago.
  2. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to ask the right questions, analyze data, and draw conclusions by making appropriate assumptions.
  3. Technical Skills: Skilled in Excel, SQL, programmatic report development, and metric management, with experience in modeling complex business scenarios and keen business sense.
  4. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate (written and spoken) in English, present information professionally and concisely with supporting data, and execute internal operations, troubleshoot issues, and manage multiple interests simultaneously in a timely manner.
  5. Problem-Solving Skills: Outstanding attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Success Record: Proven success record in workflow improvement and SOP development, with a high level of comfort communicating effectively across internal teams and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Demonstrated Record: Demonstrated record in sales operation, data analysis, and/or customer service.
  2. CRM Experience: Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) management using Tableau and/or Salesforce system.
  3. Industry Experience: Experience in information, internet, cross-border e-commerce, or a similar industry.
  4. Sales Experience: Experience managing external customers and developing sales materials.
  5. API Understanding: Understanding of API application and sales funnel.
  6. Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Management, Information Management, Statistics, Business, or a related field, or graduated less than 12 months ago.
