Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Senior Clinical Psychologist - Attachment and Trauma Specialist. The successful candidate will work with children with complex trauma, attachment difficulties, and a background of abuse and neglect.

Main Duties
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based treatments to children and young people and their families.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure seamless care and support for children and families.
Person Specification
  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology as accredited by the BPS/HCPC.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professionals Council as Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Experience and expertise with looked after and adopted children, children and young people with PTSD and complex trauma.
Skills and Abilities
  • Experience of working with clinical complexity and distressing and emotive information.
  • Skills in the use of complex methods of psychological assessment, intervention, and management.
