Main Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinical psychologist to take on a leadership role in our Mental Health Liaison and Psychological Medicine Service. As the lead psychologist, you will be responsible for developing and providing a specialist clinical psychology service, supervising psychology trainees, and supporting the staff team.

About the Role

You will be working closely with the senior leadership team to provide brief psychological interventions to patients on the medical wards and to develop and deliver specialist training programmes. Your experience of working with people with severe, complex, and chronic mental health and physical health problems will be invaluable in this role.

Key Requirements
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalence
  • Substantial experience of working as a qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
  • Experience of teaching, training, and supervising professional and clinical practice
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
