About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Childcare Assessor/Trainer to join our team at KM Recruitment.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality assessment and training services to learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships at Level 4 or Level 5.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-quality assessment and training services to learners.
  2. Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
  3. Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
  4. Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
  5. Maintain accurate documentation on learners' progress.
  6. Provide ongoing support, advice, and motivation to learners.
  7. Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet individual learner needs.
Requirements
  • Hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA, or TAQA.
  • Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
  • Prior experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare, at Level 4 or Level 5 is desirable.
  • Hold strong competency at Deputy Manager level or above within a Residential Childcare setting.
  • Hold a minimum Level 3 in Residential Childcare.
  • Fully clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle required.
  • Must be flexible with travel.
Salary and Benefits

£35,000 per annum, plus an excellent bonus scheme up to an additional £10,000 OTE (depending on qualifications and experience).
