Job Description

We are seeking an experienced pharmacy technician to join our team as a Band 4 Pharmacy Tech. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality, safe, and effective pharmacy services.

As a pharmacy technician with our trust, you will be responsible for providing a pharmacy service that meets the needs of patients, healthcare professionals, and the community. You will be working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-focused care and ensure a timely supply of medicines, utilisation of patients' own medicines, and medicines adherence training.

The successful candidate will have a strong focus on medicines optimisation and innovative pharmaceutical practice. They will also have excellent communication skills, good interpersonal and IT skills, and be able to work independently as well as in a team.

Main Duties
  • Providing a high-quality, customer-focused pharmaceutical service to in-patients, out-patients, discharge patients, and associated hospitals and clinics
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-focused care and ensure a timely supply of medicines, utilisation of patients' own medicines, and medicines adherence training
  • Providing dispensary-based patient services to inpatients and outpatients, including clinical trials
