We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist to join our team of residents at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Job Overview

The Pharmacy service is highly regarded in the Trust and has over 200 staff members. The department is friendly, forward thinking and constantly expanding with opportunities for personal development and further postgraduate education.

Main Duties of the Job
  • You will be expected to provide expert clinical pharmacy services to patients, promoting safe and effective medication use.
  • Support and promote medicines optimisation services in your designated specialty.
  • Engage with the wider healthcare team to ensure patients are discharged in a timely and safe manner.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care through evidence-based prescribing practices.
Key Requirements
  • A Master's degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
  • Certificate in General Pharmacy Practice or equivalent.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, reliable, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. A strong understanding of hospital pharmacy processes and knowledge of pharmaceutical reference materials is essential.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £44,806 - £53,134 per annum, inclusive of Inner London HCAS plus EDC. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a contributory pension scheme and generous annual leave entitlement.
